ZONING OFFICER
The Zoning Officer will provide and assist residents with information regarding the Town of Wayne LAND USE REGULATIONS.
The Land Use Regulations requires the Zoning Director to process and review applications for VARIANCES, SUBDIVISIONS, SPECIAL USE, BUILDING PERMITS and DOCKS & MOORING PERMITS.
Land use in the Town of Wayne is regulated and the Zoning Officer is responsible for the enforcement of the law.
The Zoning Officer is a certified New York State Code enforcement Official who will inspect permitted construction and periodically inspects commercial businesses for Fire Code compliance.
The New York State Department of State mandates that all municipalities comply with the Uniform Building, Fire Prevention, and Property Maintenance Codes.
